This Oregon Administrative <br />Rule also requires a pre-operational <br />inspection to determine compliance with the <br />reviewed plans and specifications and Rule <br />requirements. Please call our office at <br />~8~5346 at least a day before you are <br />ready for this Dre-oDerational inspection~ <br /> <br />Floors in restrooms and in all areas where <br />food or food products are stored, prepared <br />or dispensed must be smooth and easily <br />cleanable. Dishwashing areas also must be <br />smooth and impervious. Storage of cooking <br />equipment is to be in rooms with smooth, <br />impervious floors. Unfinished wood is not <br />acceptable. Quarry tile is approved. <br />Suggest sheet vinyl or the equivalent. <br />Wood floors and carpet allowed only in <br />dining area. Self-service salad/condiment <br />areas must have a smooth, non-absorbant <br />floor covering such as vinyl, tile or the <br />equivalent extending 30" on each side to <br />which the public has access. <br /> <br />Surfaces of walls and ceilings in <br />restrooms, dishwashing and food storage <br />areas must be smooth, easily cleanable, and <br />of light color.
