July 31, 1992

APPLICANT:
SITE NUMBER:

STANDARD SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET

EILLIGO$S HOMES
92-2535

Your site has been found suitable for a STANDARD ON-SITE SEWAGE DISPOSAL
SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installa-
tion of your septic system.

The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1500
gallons.

The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at
525 ~allons Der day. Based on soil conditions observed on this
site, the disposal field will be sized at 150 lineal feet Der 150
qallons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of ~25 lineal
feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop-
ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and
on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125
feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed
level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface.

The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution
with a minimum trench depth of 24 inches and a maximum trench
depth of 24 inches. There must be at least 12 inch~ Of backfill
over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground
surface.

A groundwater interceptor is required as part of this system. This
interceptor trench must be constructed a minimum twelve (12) inches wide by 40
inches deep with 30 inches of clean gravel placed over a four (4) inch smooth
wall perforated pipe. The interceptor must be located at least ten (10) feet
upslope from the disposal field and must discharge through a watertight, non-
perforated pipe beside or below the disposal field. A separation of 25 feet is
required from the septic tank if the tank is located upslope of the: groundwa-
ter interceptor.

This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system must
be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise authorized
by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is
proposed for a different area on the property.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS~
Construct the drainfields as far upslepe as possible within the immedi-
ate area of the soil test pits. Allow space for the upslope curtain
drain. Refer to the enclosed setback list which outlines minimum
separation distances between components of septic systems and other
features, existing and proposed. Soil conditions are marginal for the
construction of the standard system, so the construction should be
limited to the dry soil summer season.

THIS IS NOT A PERMIT TO INSTALL TEE SEPTIC SYSTEM. DO NOT INSTALL THE SYSTEM
UNTIL A VALID PERMIT HAS BEEN ISSUED BY THIS OFFICE.
