DETROIT, OREGON 97342

I stopped by this property 5/18/92 to check for conflicts
between septic systems and the proposed two bedroom
residence. My investigation found several conditions that
will prevent us from considering your application as
submitted. Two conditions are the most important.

First, the new driveway is sited directly OVer the exist-
ing drainfield as displayed by your plot plan. Also, soil
conditions have been modified by cutting and filling in
that same area. This is a violation to current rules
pertaining to on-site subsurface sewage disposal in that
the soil within the area of the operating and replacement
drainfield sites must be maintained in the natural undis-
turbed condition. Second, Your proposed house site does
not meet the minimum twenty-five feet separation distance
from the upslope drainfield. As the landform drops off
sharply just below the existing utility shed and proposed
house site, there does not appear to be an alternate
location for the drainfields.

Let me know if you
Call, if you have
office between 8 and ~0 AM.

LEE A.
