Marion County

OREGON
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT

PLANNING &

,50D 588,5038

ROARD Of
COMMISSIONERS
Racdall Fr~nke

OFFICER

October 30, 1990

James L. McGehee
Latimer, McGehee & Meiners
P. O. Box 476
Stayton, Oregon 97383-0476

SUBJECT: EVERGREEN MOBILE HOME PARK

Dear Mr. McGehee:

Zn response to your letter of October 25, 1990,
Evergreen Mobile Home Park, I wish to make the
clarifications.

regarding
following

Mobile Home Park Construction and Inspections are regu-
lated by the State of Oregon and establish minimum stan-
dards. It is beyond the authority of Marion County to
vary those standards. By definition, the location of the
fourth (4th) Mobile Home in an incomplete Mobile Home
Park places it in violation of State Law. I will assume
that your letter is addressing the city of Aumsville
requirements and not State regulation.

We have met with the Owner and project Engineer for the
park. We have discussed the standards and given them the
requirements should they wish to proceed with "phased"
development. We are most willing to bend the rules to
accommodate the developer, but we will not break any of
them. Please advise your client that we will begin to
issue placement permits when a final inspection and
approval of the park is done.

Sincerely,

DONALD E.
