This review is for compliance with the provisions of the <br /> Oregon State Structural Specialty Code (UBC) 1990 Edition. <br /> <br /> This review is not intended to prohibit the building inspector from requesting <br /> an evaluation of the acceptability of existing structural m~bers that may <br /> appear to be unsafe. Existing construction not specifically detailed in the <br /> plans and structural calculations is beyond the scope of this review. <br /> <br /> This review does not include a second story or stairway to a second story. <br /> Any second story will require an additional plan review. <br /> <br /> 1. Hardware for all exit doors required for egress is required to be of a <br /> simple type having no provision for locking against egress, and having <br /> an obvious method of operation. Flush bolts other than listed automatic <br /> are not acceptable. Sec. 3304(c), see Exception. <br /> <br /> 2. Attic areas are to be provided with draft stops to subdivide the space <br /> into areas not to exceed 3,000 sq. ft. and the greatest horizontal <br /> dimension shall not exceed 60 feet. (2516(f)) <br /> <br /> 3. Fireblo0king shall be installed in concealed spaces of stud walls and <br /> partitions, including furred spaces, so placed that the maximum <br /> dimension of any concealed space is not over 10-feet, and at the ceiling <br /> and floor levels. (2516(f)2) <br /> <br /> 4. Every building shall have sanitary fixtures installed as required by <br /> Section 510 and Table No. 5-~. Where sanitary fixtures are located in <br /> an adjacent building on the same property, toilet facilities may be <br /> omitted in the new building. <br /> <br />Two water closets, two lavatories and one drinking fountain are <br />required.
