I tried to call you; however, your
staff indicated you were attending a 10-day training seminar. To save time,
you do not need to resubmit plans to DEQ; but, you do need to modify them as
identified below for a final submission tb~Marion County, in order to obtain
your construction permit from them.

In order that we communicate clearly, some terminology changes are
necessary. On sheets $9 and SlO of your plans, the typical cross
sections need to be labeled as follows:

A/SIO:
1. The trench and piping from a structure to a septic tank is a
"building sewer trench and pipe".
2. The trench and piping from a septic tank to a manhole or
dosing tank, is an "effluent sewer trench and pipe".

b. B/SIO - is an "effluent sewer trench and pipe".
c. C/SlO - is a "main pressure transport trench and pi~".
d. D/SIO - is a "secondary pressure transport trench and pipe",
e. E/SIO - is a "pressure manifold trench and pipe".
f. F/SIO - is an "individual disposal field pressure distribution
lateral trench and pipe".

2. On sheet S9:

A minimum 1,O00 gallon grease trap needs to be added to the
building sewer between the mess hall and its septic tank.
