Applicant shall supply contact information for flaggers that will be on call to be used to control traffic on Marion County right of way if necessary. Permission is not granted to institute traffic control at the applicant’s discretion. Permission must be obtained from MCPW Traffic Engineering Section prior to instituting traffic control. ?? Applicant shall contact MCPW Traffic Engineering Section, Bill Brownlee at 503-588- 5036 during the week between July 20 and July 24 to review how the Traffic Control Plan is working. Marion County reserves the right to modify or amend the Traffic Control Plan as necessary. ?? Applicant shall not place off-site directional signing within Marion County public right of ways. Marion County Risk Management: Stated that they had spoken several times with the coordinator of this event and have no problem with it proceeding as planned. Marion County Sheriff’s Office: indicated they could approve the request as submitted but recommended a designated staging area for emergency personnel. Marion County Health Department stated that the Department does not have any issues that would prevent this event from occurring. The operator should address the following: ?? All temporary food licenses should be submitted to our office no less than 1 week prior to the first day of the event. ?? The archery area as shown on the plot plan needs to have a sufficient back drop as to prevent fired arrows from leaving and striking outside this area. An archery range supervisor should be in charge of this area at all times that it is in operation. The supervisor must be 18 years or older. The archery range should be visibly delineated to prevent accidental entry. ?? A log of all first-aid, medical, emergencies, or other unusual events must be kept. Any major emergencies must be communicated to county authorities as soon as possible. ?? Information is needed on how wastewater is to be handled and disposed. The Silverton Fire District stated that the applicant would be able to meet their requirements prior to the event. All other contacted agencies either failed to respond or stated no objection to the proposal at the time this report was prepared. 2
