Marton Building Inspection Division
Onsite Wastewater Review
. PUBLIC;WORKS
Activity Number:555-24-0000643-INQY Date: September 5th,2024
Project Address: 18936 Butteville RD NE,Aurora
16-Acres of 041W300000100 from P24-004
Completed By: Matt Knudsen
SEPTIC SYSTEM RECORD REVIEW
This record review was conducted as the property is getting smaller and to determine that there is enough
room for a repair system, when needed.
The Certificate of Satisfactory Completion was approved on 8/27/2003 as a capping fill drainfield with 458
lineal feet of drainline and a 1000-gallon concrete tank. Existing System Evaluation Report document
created by Ace Septic and Excavating shows that the system show the tank in working condition but has
not cover over it. When authorizing the connection of future home the tank may be required to have fill
placed over it. The drainfield was not evaluated as part of the evaluation. The septic system was not in use
and was previously connected to the hardship home. There is enough room for a replacement drainfield
when needed. The existing main house septic system was not reviewed
THIS RECORD REVIEW IS BASED ON THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT.
THE SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and farming
activities. Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar
activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas
of the initial septic system and the future repair area must both be protected.
THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE PUMPED AND INSPECTED by a licensed septic tank pumping
service approximately EVERY FIVE (5) YEARS. The septic tank is a reservoir for the solid materials in
the sewage waste stream. Excessive accumulation of these solid materials in the septic tank can cause the
solids to wash out of the tank and into the drainfield. This can cause irreversible damage to the drainfield
and can eventually lead to a system failure.
5155 Silverton Rd NE-Salem,Oregon 97305-3802-Phone(503)588-5147-Fax(503)588-7948
