Other activities such as excavating or filling, driveway placement,
paving or other similar activities that alter the natural soil conditions will adversely affect
the soil and the septic system function and lead to premature system failure. The area
must not be subjected to excessive saturation due to artificial drainage of ground
surfaces, driveways, building downspouts or other sources. The areas of the initial
septic system and the future repair system must both be protected.
Where to go from here:
New test pits should be dug and a new plot plan showing the field staked location and
specific components of the proposed initial and repair system must be submitted, along
with a proposed materials list, and either evidence of the property line abandonment, or
completed easement forms.
•
This is not a permit, a permit will be issued when all reauired
information has been submitted and approved
Sincere y,
f
/.
Robert Goodwin
Marion County Onsite Wastewater Specialist
503-566-3990
5155 Silverton Road NE•Salem,OR 97305-3802• www.co.marion.or.us
Printed on recycled paper• Reduce—Reuse—Recycle-Recover
