..0444i•,,,, Marion Building Inspection Division
Onsite Wastewater Review
OREOCilSr
mgPUBLIC lsvoRKS
Activity Number:555-24-004569-INQY Date: July 3,2024
Project Address:7957 Stafey Ln NE, Gervais
1.50 acres of 052W11000300, PLA 24-007
Completed By: Danny Brown; EH-ST
SEPTIC SYSTEM RECORD REVIEW
This record review was conducted for a proposed property line adjustment. This adjustment will create a
8.15-acre parcel, and a 1.50-acre parcel. There is a dwelling located on the 1.50-acre parcel.
Marion County records show the system was installed in 1974 under permit number 73-2447. A site plan
and existing system evaluation report was submitted showing the system is located entirely within the
proposed parcel meeting setbacks to the property lines, matching the as-built record.A Site Evaluation was
conducted in 2024 to establish a repair area on the parcel.
THIS RECORD REVIEW IS BASED ON THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT.
THE SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and farming
activities. Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar
activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas
of the initial septic system and the future repair area must both be protected.
THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE PUMPED AND INSPECTED by a licensed septic tank pumping
service approximately EVERY FIVE (5) YEARS. The septic tank is a reservoir for the solid materials in
the sewage waste stream. Excessive accumulation of these solid materials in the septic tank can cause the
solids to wash out of the tank and into the drainfield. This can cause irreversible damage to the drainfield
and can eventually lead to a system failure.
5155 Silverton Rd NE—Salem,Oregon 97305-3802—Phone(503)588-5147—Fax(503)588-7948
