(Note: the telephone <br /> number for the Oregon Utility Notification Center is(503)232-1987) <br /> Approval of this application is not an approval of omissions or oversights by this office or of <br /> noncompliance with any applicable regulations of local or state governments. <br /> This application was reviewed for compliance with Oregon Revised Statute 455.315 and Appendix Chapter C of the <br /> Oregon Structural Specialty Code for exempt status from a building permit for agricultural buildings and equine structures <br /> and facilities. <br /> This application is for - '"" I at will be used in connection with the farm operation and as such <br /> is considered an agricultural exempt building. <br /> No building permit is required for this buildin•,located at " ` "" FOR based on the <br /> information on the application submitted by -- ..- . ;>. x 'g ?:. This building is not to be open to <br /> the public for events, shows or mass gatherings. <br /> DEFINITIONS: <br /> AG EXEMPT STATUS. Agricultural buildings and equine facilities located on a farm or forest operation as defined in <br /> Appendix C of the Oregon Structural Specialty Code are exempt from building permit requirements as long as they are <br /> used exclusively for the operation of the farm,forest or equine facility. Any change of use from farm use in the future will <br /> require application for a change of use and occupancy and a building permit will be required. The building will have to be <br /> brought up to current code in effect at that time of application which may be difficult to achieve. <br /> FARM is land used for the primary purpose of raising,harvesting and selling of crops or by the feeding,breeding, <br /> management and sale of,or produce of,livestock,poultry,fur-bearing animals or honeybees or for dairying and the sale of <br /> dairy products or any other agricultural or horticultural use or animal husbandry or any combination thereof.Farm use <br /> includes the preparation and storage of products raised on such farm for human use and animal use and disposal by <br /> marketing or otherwise. Section C 101.2 <br /> AGRICULTURAL BUILDING means a structure located on a farm or forest operation: and used for: <br /> (A) Storage,maintenance or repair of farm machinery or forestry machinery and equipment; <br /> (B) The raising,harvesting,and selling of crops or forest products; <br /> (C) The feeding,breeding,management and sale of,or produce of livestock,poultry,fur-bearing animals or <br /> honeybees; <br /> (D) Dairying and the sale of dairy products; <br /> (E) Any other agricultural, forestry or horticultural use or animal husbandry,or any combination thereof,including <br /> the preparation and storage of the produce raised on such farm for human use and animal use,the preparation and <br /> storage of forest products and disposal by marketing or otherwise,of farm produce or forest products.
