Conditions observed during this site evaluation indicate that the area <br /> BUILDING around the evaluated test holes is not capable of supporting a Standard septic <br /> INSPECTION system due to the following limitations: <br /> EMERGENCY Depth to Soil with Rapid or Very Rapid Permeability <br /> MANAGEMENT <br /> DEQ Rule requirement: Soil with rapid or very rapid permeability must be <br /> ENGINEERING 36" below the ground surface. "Soil with rapid or very rapid permeability" <br /> 0 fragments <br /> to sandy loam or coarser soil with 35% or more coarse fra ments <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL over 2mm; loamy sand or sand; or stones, cobbles, gravel and rock <br /> SERVICES fragments with too little soil material to fill the void spaces. OAR 340-071- <br /> 0220(1)(c) <br /> OPERATIONS Description: Treatment of sewage occurs in the soil around the drainfield <br /> area. If the sewage enters the groundwater before it has been adequately <br /> PARKS treated in the soil, it poses a potential public health hazard. A layer of rapid <br /> permeability was observed around 12-30 inches at this site. <br /> PLANNING <br /> SURVEY Under the conditions observed at the above address, a PRESSURIZED <br /> DISTRIBUTION system is required by DEQ rules for the repair system. <br /> Specific Requirements <br /> Specific sizing and site placement details can be found on the attached Soil <br /> Notes/Field Worksheet. <br /> The owner of a Pressurized Distribution System must maintain a service contract <br /> with a licensed and certified professional to service and maintain the onsite <br /> system. A service contract must be entered into before a certificate of <br /> satisfactory completion is issued and must be maintained until the system is <br /> decommissioned. <br /> AN EFFLUENT LIFT PUMP WILL BE REQUIRED to install the septic system <br /> disposal field in the approved area and at the required depth.
