There is a 3-bedroom single family dwelling located on the 1.96-acre parcel. Per Marion County,there is no record of installation of the existing system.A site plan and existing system evaluation report performed by Oregon Sewer and Drain was submitted showing the system is comprised of a 1000-gallon tank and 180 linear feet of drainfield located entirely within the proposed parcel. At this time there are no repair areas indicated on the parcel. THIS RECORD REVIEW IS BASED ON THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT. THE SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic,livestock and farming activities. Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas of the initial septic system and the future repair area must both be protected. THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE PUMPED AND INSPECTED by a licensed septic tank pumping service approximately EVERY FIVE (5) YEARS. The septic tank is a reservoir for the solid materials in the sewage waste stream. Excessive accumulation of these solid materials in the septic tank can cause the solids to wash out of the tank and into the drainfield.
