Marian Gaunt
Building Inspection Division
Onsite Wastewater Review
O R E GO N
11111111 PUBLCCVI[ORKS=
Activity Number:555-23-008752-INQY Date: December 5, 2023
Project Address:20521 Bridge Creek Rd SE, Silverton
1.96 acres of Tax Lot 081E01B000100, P 23-002
Completed By: Danielle Brown,EH-ST
SEPTIC SYSTEM RECORD REVIEW
This record review was conducted for the proposed partition of a 49.92-acre parcel. This proposed partition
will create a 1.96-acre parcel, a 1.99-acre parcel, and a 45.97-acre parcel. There is a 3-bedroom single
family dwelling located on the 1.96-acre parcel.
Per Marion County, there is no record of installation of the existing system.A site plan and existing system
evaluation report performed by Oregon Sewer and Drain was submitted showing the system is comprised
of a 1000-gallon tank and 180 linear feet of drainfield located entirely within the proposed parcel. At this
time there are no repair areas indicated on the parcel.
THIS RECORD REVIEW IS BASED ON THE INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT.
THE SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, livestock and farming
activities. Other activities such as logging, excavating or filling, driveway placement or any similar
activities may also damage the soil in the area and adversely affect the septic system approval. The areas
of the initial septic system and the future repair area must both be protected.
THE SEPTIC TANK SHOULD BE PUMPED AND INSPECTED by a licensed septic tank pumping
service approximately EVERY FIVE (5) YEARS. The septic tank is a reservoir for the solid materials in
the sewage waste stream. Excessive accumulation of these solid materials in the septic tank can cause the
solids to wash out of the tank and into the drainfield. This can cause irreversible damage to the drainfield
and can eventually lead to a system failure.
5155 Silverton Rd NE—Salem,Oregon 97305-3802—Phone(503)588-5147—Fax(503)588-7948
