Conditions observed during this site evaluation indicate
ENGINEERING that the area around the evaluated test holes is not capable of supporting
a Standard septic system due to the following limitations:
ENVIRONMENTAL
SERVICES Limited space
OPERATIONS There is not sufficient area for a standard repair system that meets
PARKS setbacks to the stream/pond and property lines.
PLANNING Specific Requirements
SURVEY A pressurized seepage bed system is required in order to meet
setbacks. For a 3 bedroom home, a 500 square foot minimum bed is
required per OAR 340-071-0275(4)(d). This is a reasonable repair,
under OAR 340-071-0215; the soils do not meet the definition of soil
with rapid permeability per OAR 340-71-0100(148) however in the
opinion of the agent this will not create a public health hazard.
Specific sizing and site placement details can be found on the attached
Soil Notes/Field Worksheet.
The owner of a Pressurized Distribution System must maintain a service
contract with a licensed and certified professional to service and maintain
the onsite system. A service contract must be entered into before a
certificate of satisfactory completion is issued and must be maintained until
5155 Silverton Road NE•Salem,OR 97305-3802• www.co.marion.or.us/PW
Printed on recycled paper• Reduce—Reuse—Recycle-Recover
