System Maintenance and Servicing performed SEMI ANNUALLY <br /> A. Maintain Processing Tank <br /> 1. Measure sludge and scum <br /> 2. Check tank for pumping <br /> B. Maintain Pump Tank: <br /> 1. Inspect/clean pump as needed <br /> 2. Inspect/clean biotube as needed <br /> 3. Activate all floats <br /> 4. Check/record clarity(turbidity) <br /> 5. Check for odor(sniff) <br /> 6. Check for oily film (visual inside tank) <br /> 7. Check for foam(visual inside tank) <br /> 8. Check/record pH <br /> 9. Measure sludge and scum <br /> 10. Record motor amps <br /> 11. Record ETM's and event counters <br /> 12. Verify all timer settings <br /> 13. Check splice box <br /> C. Maintain disposal field <br /> 1. Visually inspect disposal field surface for ponding <br /> 2. Check liquid level in disposal field's monitoring ports if installed in system. <br /> 3. Flush laterals if designed according to DEQ. <br /> D. Reporting <br /> 1. Report to authorized representative any improper system function and date <br /> of correction. <br /> 2. Annual report to Regulatory Agency with Regulatory Agency Fee. <br /> Homeowner will be invoiced for Regulatory Agency Fee annually, and <br /> the fee is to be paid directly to A&B Septic within 10 days of invoicing. <br /> If the fee is not paid within the specified time frame, the report will <br /> not be sent to the Regulatory Agency, and the homeowner will be out <br /> of compliance. <br /> E. Alarm/Emergency Response <br /> 1. Service Tech on call 24 hours a day,7 days a week. <br /> 2. Provide Emergency Response within 48 hours of service request <br />
