Conditions observed during this site evaluation indicate <br /> that the area around the evaluated test holes is not capable of supporting <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL a Standard septic system due to the following limitations: <br /> SERVICES <br /> Depth to Soil with Rapid or Very Rapid Permeability <br /> OPERATIONS <br /> DEQ Rule requirement: Soil with rapid or very rapid permeability <br /> PARKS must be 36" below the ground surface. "Soil with rapid or very rapid <br /> PLANNING permeability" refers to sandy loam or coarser soil with 35% or more <br /> coarse fragments over 2mm; loamy sand or sand; or stones, cobbles, <br /> SURVEY gravel and rock fragments with too little soil material to fill the void <br /> spaces. OAR 340-071-0220(1)(c) <br /> Description: Treatment of sewage occurs in the soil around the <br /> drainfield area. If the sewage enters the groundwater before it has <br /> been adequately treated in the soil, it poses a potential public health <br /> hazard. A layer of rapid permeability was observed around 0 inches <br /> at this site. <br /> Specific Requirements <br /> This property will require a 400 square foot seepage bed absorption <br /> system. OAR 340-071-0275 normally requires 500 square feet <br /> minimum for a 3 bedroom dwelling, however per OAR 340-071-0215 <br /> and HB 2289 a reasonable repair will be granted.
