ALSO TO LOCATE
AND VERIFY ITS ACCESSORIES REPORTED IN MARION COUNTY SURVEY RECORD
(MCSR) 28156 AND MCSR 29179, WHICH ARE SLIGHTLY BURNED HIGH SNIPED
STUMPS AND A BURNED TREE STILL STANDING. NO NEW ACCESSORIES ESTABLISHED
AT THIS TIME. THE CORNER WAS RE-MONUMENTED BY PROCHNAU IN 1979 MCSR
28156 AND VISITED BY WIGHTMAN IN 1981 MCSR 29179.
RECORDS RESEARCH WAS PERFORMED IN THE MARION COUNTY SURVEYOR'S OFFICE
TO OBTAIN ALL FILED SURVEYS AND FIELD NOTES CONTAINING INFORMATION ABOUT
THIS CORNER. A FIELD SEARCH WAS MADE TO LOCATE ALL PHYSICAL EVIDENCE OF
THIS CORNER AND ITS ACCESSORIES. THE MONUMENT SET 1N MCSR 28156, WAS
FOUND WITH A SLIGHT LEAN SOUTHWESTERLY AND THE FIVE ACCESSORIES WERE
FOUND. THREE 8' HIGH SNIPED STUMPS, ONE BADLY DECAYING, BURNED ORIGINAL
STUMP, AND ONE DEAD, BURNED TREE STANDING AND SOLID.
THE BASIS OF BEARINGS IS BETWEEN THE 2-112" DIAMETER BRASS CAP MARKING
THE SECTION CORNER OF SECTION 9, 10, 15, AND 16, TO ACCESSORY 1892[2]
WHICH IS A FIR 51 " IN DIAMETER, BURNED AND DECAYING STUMP. BEARING WAS
DETERMINED BY USING A HAND COMPASS AND DISTANCE WAS DETERMINED BY 200'
CLOTH TAPE, MEASURED TO CENTER OF BURNED AND DECAYING STUMP.
EQUIPMENT.
A HAND COMPASS WITH DECLINATION SET TO 15` EAST WAS USED FOR BASIS OF
BEARINGS AND VERIFYING EXISTING ACCESSORIES. A 2 00' CLOTH TAPE WAS USED
FOR VERIFYING EXISTING DISTANCES OF ACCESSORIES.
I In
• FOUND MONUMENT AS NOTED.
( )= RECORD DATA
]= REFERENCE NUMBER
f J= CALCULATED DATA
DIA= DIAMETER
BC= BRASS CAP
GLO= GENERAL LAND OFFICE
MCSR= MARION COUNTY SURVEY RECORD
MCSO= MARION COUNTY SURVEYOR'S OFFICE
FD= FOUND
RP= REFERENCE POINT
MCFB= MARION COUNTY FIELD BOOK
EST= ESTABLISHED
BLM= BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT
CHS= CHAINS
LKS= LINKS
PG= PAGE
VOL= VOLUME
BT= BEARING TREE
FT= FEET
INS= INCHES
'Ak SCALE: 1 " = 10'
ir= TREE AS NOTED
0' 10' 20' 30'
A= STUMP AS NOTED
GOVERNMENT CORNER VISITATION
SITUATED IN THE SE 114 OF SECTION 9, AND THE SW 114 OF
SECTION 10, AND THE NW 114 OF SECTION 15, AND THE NE
114 OF SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 10 SOUTH, RANGE 6 EAST,
WI LLAMETTE MERIDIAN, MARION COUNTY, OREGON.
GC 13638
DATE: 10/25/2022 1 SCALE: 1 ":10' 1 CREW: MM JC
REGISTERED
PROFESSIONAL
LAND SURVEYOR
OREGON
JULY 13, 2004
KENT RYAN INMAN
6005OLS
12/12/2022.
