Please see the information below regarding the Onsite Wastewater Treatment System <br /> INSPECTION Authorization Notice for a replacement dwelling. <br /> EMERGENCY Existing System Information: <br /> MANAGEMENT Marion County's records include install records from September 1983.There is 450 linear <br /> feet of drainfield and a 1,000-gallon septic tank. It was found during the field visit <br /> ENGINEERING conducted by Marion County on July 11,2022,these records are accurate. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL The tank was pumped by A&B Septic Service on June 16, 2022, where the drainfield was <br /> SERVICES located and the boxes were dug up for inspection.There is a concrete walkway on top of <br /> OPERATIONS the tank, partially covering the septic tank riser. It was shown during inspection there is <br /> sufficient access to the tank for pumping and the pumper did not record any difficulty <br /> PARKS with access. <br /> PLANNING This authorization is in response to a house fire, and it does not appear that any system <br /> components were damaged during this event. <br /> SURVEY <br /> There is sufficient area on the property for a full replacement system. <br /> Flow Increase Information: <br /> The existing septic system currently serves a three-bedroom dwelling. After the house <br /> fire,the applicants will rebuild a four-bedroom dwelling.This denotes an increase in flow <br /> under OAR 340-071-0205(5).This increase in use is allowed under OAR 340-071-0205(5). <br /> AUTHORIZATION TO CONNECT TO THE EXISTING ONSITE SYSTEM IS APPROVED. <br /> THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTED from any vehicular traffic, <br /> livestock, and farming activities. Other activities such as logging, excavating, or filling, <br /> driveway placement, or any similar activities may also damage the soil in the area and <br /> adversely affect the septic system approval.
