THE PURPOSE OF THIS SURVEY WAS TO VISIT THE 114 CORNER COMMON TO
SECTION 25, SECTION 26 AFTER THE BEACHIE CREEK FIRE, AND TO LOCATE AND
VERIFY ITS REFERENCES REPORTED IN BLM FIELD NOTES, VOL OR R0656, PG 261
AND TO SET NEW REFERENCES IF NEEDED. THE CORNER WAS RE-MONUMENTED IN
1990 FROM THE SAID BLM FIELD NOTES ABOVE.
RECORDS RESEARCH WAS PERFORMED IN THE MARION COUNTY SURVEYOR'S OFFICE
TO OBTAIN ALL FILED SURVEYS AND FIELD NOTES CONTAINING INFORMATION ABOUT
THIS CORNER. A FIELD SEARCH WAS MADE TO LOCATE ALL PHYSICAL EVIDENCE OF
THIS CORNER AND ITS ACCESSORIES. THE MONUMENT SET IN BLM FIELD NOTES, VOL
OR R0656, PG 261 WAS FOUND IN GOOD CONDITION. THE ACCESSORIES WERE
LOCATED AND TIED AS SHOWN. TWO NEW REFERENCES WERE SET AT THIS TIME.
THE BASIS OF BEARINGS 1S BETWEEN THE 1990 REFERENCE [6] WHICH IS NOW A
31" DIA HEMLOCK. TO THE 3" BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT BRASS CAP MARKING
THE WEST 114 CORNER OF SECTION 25 AND THE EAST 114 OF SECTION 26.
EQUIPMENT.
A NIKON K SERIES TOTAL STATION WITH AN ANGULAR RESOLUTION OF TWO SECONDS,
HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL, DISTANCE TO 2 MILLIMETERS +/- 2 PARTS PER MILLION
WAS USED FOR SETTING NEW REFERENCE MONUMENTS AND TO VERIFY DISTANCES TO
EXISTING ACCESSORIES. A HAND COMPASS WITH DECLINATION SET TO 15' EAST WAS
USED FOR VERIFYING BEARINGS OF EXISTING ACCESSORIES.
RECEIVED 09/07/2021 BY
MARION COUNTY SURVEYOR.
APPROVED FOR FILING ON
12/06/2021
MCSR 39491
SURVEYOR RECORD
AARSETH BLM VOL OR R0656, PG 261
I" IRON PIPE FIRMLY SET IN THE GROUND PROJECTING 6" ABOVE THE
GROUND
STAINLESS STEEL POST 2 1/2" X 28" 24" IN THE GROUND DIRECTLY
OVER PIPE WITH BRASS CAP MARKED " T9S R3E 114 S26 S25 1990"
1915[4] FIR SNAG 28" DIA BEARS S 1 1-1 /4-E 25 LKS
(S 10.25'E 24.5' LKS), 1/4 S CS T VISIBLE ON OPENED BLAZE.
[5] FIR 18" DIA BEARS N3 -1/2-E 69 LKS
[6] HEMLOCK 15" DIA BEARS S38-1 /2'W 75-112 LKS
DATE
8/3/2021
FOUND MONUMENT
FOUND ACCESSORY
FOUND ACCESSORY
NEW ACCESSORY
NEW ACCESSORY
SURVEYOR RECORD
HEPLER MCSR 37976
3-1/4" BRASS DISK MARKED, "U.S. DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR BUR.
OF LAND MANAGEMENT, UNLAWFUL TO DISTURB, T9S R3E, 114, S26, S25,
1990, CADASTRAL SURVEY"
BLM BEARING TREE STILL STANDING
OLD BT IS NOW A BROKEN STUMP
SURVEYOR RECORD
HEPLER MCSR 38026
3-1/4" BRASS DISK MARKED, "U.S. DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR BUR.
OF LAND MANAGEMENT, UNLAWFUL TO DISTURB, T9S R3E, 114, S26, S25,
1990, CADASTRAL SURVEY"
BLM BEARING TREE STILL STANDING
OLD BT IS NOW A BROKEN STUMP
N 03-112- E 45.5'
(N 03-112- E 69 LINKS 145.5'1
BLM FIELD NOTES, VOL OR R0656, PG 26 1)
[8] A 5/8" X 30" IRON ROD WITH
2" ALUMINUM CAP STAMPED "MARION
COUNTY SURVEYOR, RP 2" DOWN
0.20' N 50'4447" W 15.76' _
19905] FOUND FIR 32" DIA WITH
HEALED BLAZE AND BT TAG,
BADLY BURNT.
