<br /> The two cracks in the "Lower Cracks" Zone start at the West edge of the
<br /> driveway and extend out several feet to the East as serpentine lines; they are
<br /> relatively minor cracks. I was not able to see these cracks in any photos from before
<br /> the date-of-loss, although I also could not find any photos clearly showing that the
<br /> cracks were not there, whether due to debris being on the driveway, the wrong angle,
<br /> or low image resolution. [See Figure 93 below showing the two cracks. Yellow
<br /> highlighting has been added for emphasis, since it is difficult to see the cracks in the
<br /> photo at this size/scale in the report and with mud and debris on the driveway.]

<br /> It is noteworthy that in photos from late December 2020 to early January 2021
<br /> the cracks appear 'raised', i.e. the surface of the asphalt being heaved directly below
<br /> the cracks. Prior to this, multiple trees on the West side of the driveway were cut
<br /> down throughout the month of November. Stumps were removed in early December.
<br /> The raised (heaved) cracks were visible in late December and early January.
<br /> However, by early February the cracks did not appear raised (heaved), nor were they
<br /> during my March site visit. [See Figures 94 & 95 below, showing tree root systems
<br /> and removal of a stump. See Figure 96 below, showing one of the Lower Cracks
<br /> raised up (heaved). See Figures 97, 98, & 99 below with cracks appearing flattened.
