49930 N Santiam Hwy SE SITE VISIT REPORT <br /> Idanha, OR 97350-9503 State Farm Claim No. 37-11K4-75P <br /> BACKGROUND — WILDFIRE <br /> The Lionshead Fire was sparked by lightning on August 16, 2020 on the Warm <br /> Springs Reservation in Oregon, East of Mt. Jefferson. On September 7, 2020 "an <br /> historic windstorm" rapidly spread the fire West into Willamette National Forest, <br /> impacting communities in the Santiam drainage area, including Idanha and this <br /> Property. <br /> Based upon review of photos received from Brandi Taylor, and upon <br /> observations by the undersigned engineer, wildfire spread through the trees and <br /> understory on the West side of the Property, up to the West edge of the driveway. <br /> There was a spot fire on the East side of the driveway mid-way between the House <br /> and Garage, on the order of 45-50 ft. from each building, adjacent to a boulder at <br /> the edge of the lawn. [See Figures 15 & 16 below for views of the burnt underbrush <br /> and tree canopies on the West side of the driveway. The tree canopy extended over the Western <br /> portion of the driveway. The wildfire spread up to the Shed and burnt vertical wood <br /> trim on the Northwest corner of the building. At the House, the wildfire approached <br /> the West side and very close to the Northwest corner of the front deck, but the wood <br /> was not burnt. Wildfire did not approach the East side of the House.
