NARRATIVE
<br />The purpose of this survey is to locate the southerly boundary of
<br />property described Reel 1511, Pg. 191, Deed Records for Marion County,
<br />Oregon.
<br />Bearings are based on monuments <3> and <10>. The base bearing is
<br />from MCSR 20564.
<br />The record distance from MCSR 20564 was projected easterly from
<br /><5>, on the line defined by {4} and {5} to locate a point on the easterly
<br />line of the subject property. The record distance from MCSR 20564 was
<br />projected easterly from <12> on the bearing of Jefferson St., as calculated
<br />from information on MCSR 25927 and the positions of 0 and <2> to locate
<br />an exterior corner of the subject property on the southerly line of Block
<br />8, MARY A. GATES ADDITION. The southeast corner of the subject
<br />property is the intersection of the line defined by the said exterior corner
<br />and the said point on the easterly line with the basis line.
<br />The north line of property described Reel 1703, Pg. 551, MCDR, is
<br />defined by <4> and <5>. Perhaps <5> was discovered in an attempt to set a
<br />monument and was overlooked on the final map of MCSR 33195. The
<br />intersection of the basis line with the west line of Lot 2, Block 2, said
<br />subdivision, is occupied by a concrete fence post anchor.
<br />* That part of Santiam St. which lies north of the subject boundary and
<br />east of the original east line of Lot I, said Block 2, is part of the subject
<br />property as originally conveyed in Vol. 650, Pg. 217, MCDR, prior to the
<br />vacation of Santiam Street.
