Septic Permit
5., 5rte,,N5-2:,.0-004_.1:62-PRMT.i.,,,rCt}ndltlffJltSs
Page 2
of 3
Oiaticate Iii ' 2Vid * ¢ /I S 1r, ti W,V21t,
,a "11,1 € r Qtt :a i
7-4-44! , 2 '
i / _ 414-Fi 4 ,ioV
r_ «,m :.ahh . - ,M1474;
Approved Area&System Type
Soil test pits and other site features were evaluated during the site visit on May 28,2020. Conditions observed during this site
evaluation indicate that the area around the evaluated test holes is not capable of supporting a Standard septic system due to
the following limitation:
Depth to Soil with Rapid or Very Rapid Permeability
DEQ Rule requirement: Soil with rapid or very rapid permeability must be 36"below the ground surface. "Soil with rapid or very
rapid permeability"refers to sandy loam or coarser soil with 35%or more coarse fragments over 2mm; loamy sand or sand;or
stones, cobbles, gravel and rock fragments with too little soil material to fill the void spaces. OAR 340-071-0220(1)(c)
Description: Treatment of sewage occurs in the soil around the drainfield area. If the sewage enters the groundwater before it
has been adequately treated in the soil, it poses a potential public health hazard. A layer of rapid permeability was observed
around 30 inches at this site.
Under the conditions observed at the above address,a PRESSURIZED DISTRIBUTION OR SEEPAGE BED system is required
by DEQ rules for both the INITIAL and an ALTERNATIVE TREATMENT OR BOTTOMLESS SAND FILTER. The
PRESSURIZED approval is based on the staking of the property.
Specific Requirements
Specific sizing and site placement details can be found on the attached Soil Notes/Field Worksheet, Install per approved plans
dated 7/7/20,An electrical permit is required and must be finalled to final septic install
The owner of a Pressurized Distribution System must maintain a service contract with a licensed and certified professional to
service and maintain the onsite system. A service contract must be entered into before the system is installed and must be
maintained until the system is decommissioned.
AN EFFLUENT LIFT PUMP WILL BE REQUIRED to install the septic system disposal field in the approved area and at the
required depth.Detailed instructions for dosing tank/effluent pump installations are available in our office. The electrical wiring to
the pump and alarm must be installed in accordance with the appropriate Electrical Code. The electrical work must be done
under a Marion County Electrical Permit and must be inspected and approved by a Marion County Electrical Inspector. The work
must be left uncovered and accessible for inspection. The electrical inspection includes the connections to the pump and alarm
in the dosing tank, the wiring in the trench and the connections in the structure.
PRESSURIZED DISTRIBUTION systems are installed in soils with excessive amounts of sand and gravel in the soil profile. In
areas of permanent water tables, these systems shall not discharge more than 450 gallons of septic effluent per 1/2 acre.
Pressurized distribution systems are limited to sites with residential strength wastewater. A minimum 5-foot squirt height is
required at the remotest orifice, and no more than a 10%difference in squirt height is allowed from the nearest to the remotest
orifice in each line. Based on the soil texture in the test pits, the required hole spacing in the pressure distribution piping will be
24 inches on center.
Additional Conditions of this installation permit
1.Both the initial and replacement disposal areas are to be protected from traffic, livestock and farming activities, development
or other potential disturbance of natural soil conditions.
2.The area must not be subjected to excessive saturation due to, but not limited to,artificial drainage of ground surfaces,
roads,driveways and building down spouts.
3.This approval is given on the basis that the parcel described above will not be further partitioned or subdivided.
4.Placement of a well within 100 feet of the approved areas may invalidate this approval.
6/17/21:12:40:31 PM Page 2 of 3 ONS_OnsiteCSCjr
