NARRATIVE <br />= Found Monument as noted, flush <br />S00'36'37"W <br />= O <br />0�I� N <br />This survey was made to <br />monument a <br />property <br />line adjustment between the <br />tracts of land described <br />in Reel 2582, <br />Page 310 <br />and Reel 3303, Page 52. In <br />addition, the survey was <br />made to identify <br />the westerly south line of the <br />southerly tract and place <br />stakes along <br />that line. <br />The adjustment was approved <br />by Marion County in Notice of Decision, <br />Property <br />Line Adjustment Case No. <br />20-015. <br />MwM� <br />w <br />o7Q <br />Both original tracts were surveyed by William Shull (see Survey No. 27612). <br />Later, the Scism Road was surveyed in a pre -construction and post - <br />construction survey by Bauer (see survey 32963). Bauer replaced <br />monuments that were destroyed during construction. For the lines <br />intersecting the adjusted line, monuments and record information from these <br />surveys were used. Monument for the adjusted line were set as shown. <br />The south line was identified as follows: Deeds adjacent to the south line are. <br />described from different directions. Despite this, both deeds agree on <br />location of the line according to all past surveys. Early deeds north of the <br />line, for example Volume 91, Page 120, call for Weisner s north line. In <br />1905, County Surveyor B.B. Herrick surveyed the line. At the east end of the <br />line he set a yew stake. At the west end of the original line he set a stone. <br />Deeds south of the line are described by metes and bounds from the south <br />with no call for a line. However, the courses match with a 1923 survey for <br />E.G. Wiesner by Deputy County Surveyor Hugh Fisher (see survey No. <br />6738). In 1979, William Shull found the yew stake and remains of two <br />bearing trees that Herrick had marked. From this evidence he set an iron rod. <br />It is his iron rod that I have used for the east end of the line. At the west end <br />of the line, Herricks stone was soon lost. Subsequent survey by Fisher, <br />Herrick, and Knox all agree upon a post that apparently memorialized the <br />former position of the stone. The post is missing, but other remaining <br />monuments from Survey No. 7257 give reference to its position. Based on <br />that location, the monuments set on the line by Herrick in the survey of Scism <br />Road (County Road Record No. 535) were set on the line as he indicates. <br />Herrick's iron rod at the easterly angle was replaced by Bauer. I have <br />accepted Bauer's iron rod for the east end of the line. Stakes were set at <br />intervals along the line.
