The amount of the improvements stated in the approved Engineer's Estimate must be secured with a 100 percent performance <br /> security. <br /> Acceptable forms of Security are as follows,per Salem Revised Code(SRC)110.100: <br /> A.) A surety bond(Construction and Maintenance Bond)executed by a surety company authorized to transact business in the State of <br /> Oregon. <br /> B.) A deposit of cash or negotiable Securities with the City. <br /> C.) A deposit of cash with an escrow agent or trust company. <br /> D.)An irrevocable standby letter of credit issued by a financial institution. <br /> As stated in the Approved Engineer's Estimate,the amount that needs to be secured is: $34,950. <br /> Once the plans are approved, I will be issuing an official Letter of Approval. That letter will contain the following items that will be required <br /> prior to issuance of this permit. <br /> 1. A digital CAD copy of the plans must be submitted. <br /> 2. A 100 percent performance security made for the approved engineer's estimate is <br /> required. The criteria for acceptable form of performance security may be obtained by <br /> calling the Development Services Section at 503-588-6211. <br /> 3. Prior to issuance of the construction permit, we must receive evidence of contractors <br /> insurance and workers compensation coverage. <br /> 4. Please provide a detailed construction schedule including the anticipated start date for <br /> construction. In addition, 48 hour notice prior to the start of construction shall be given to <br /> the City's Construction Inspections Section at 503-588-6211. <br /> 5. A traffic control plan and application shall be submitted to the Public Works Traffic <br /> Section at least three days for local and collector streets, and ten days for arterial streets, <br /> prior to the start of any construction activity in the public right-of-way. Contact the Traffic <br /> Section at 503-588-6211 to determine specific requirements and associated fees. PLEASE <br /> NOTE: This is a separate permit and must be obtained through the Traffic Division. This <br /> permit is for the work that will he comnleted in the Public ROW of Skyline Rd <br />
