Advisory Measure To Conduct A Survey On Future Residential Growth.

Question: Are you in favor of Aumsville planning for and growing residentially?

Summary: This measure seeks guidance from city residents as to their preference on city residential growth. Aumsville has experienced a high residential growth rate in the past and continues to be appealing to developers. The Aumsville City Council is questioning if the undeveloped land between the east and west city limits and the Urban Growth Boundary is sufficient for future growth. They are seeking input from the city voters as to whether they wish the city population to increase.

Financial impacts may include General Fund money being spent on a buildable lands inventory and comprehensive plan and development ordinance updates. This measure is advisory only and not binding on the Aumsville City Council.
