TIME FOR A DIFFERENCE Despite having a $265 million dollar budget, Marion County has never had an internal auditing process. JIM KELLER will work to create an auditing process for Marion County to eliminate waste and make sure our tax dollars are used efficiently and effectively. JIM KELLER will work with other county officers to make Marion County more efficient, resulting in lower costs. JIM KELLER will work with officials to better use the county lobbyist to increase Marion County’s share of state and federal grants. JIM KELLER will take the lead in developing a county wide purchasing system that would reduce the costs for goods and services to all area governments. JIM KELLER will improve accountability by requiring county receivables to be posted to the proper cost centers and accounts.
