The taxpayers of Marion County deserve a cost
effective office which is operated in a business like manner. Professional
customer service is of the highest priority to be followed with the quick
response to phone messages, inquiries and complaints. Property value,
tax disputes and other customer problems directed to this office will
be quickly addressed and be resolved in the fastest way possible.

responsible business management.

Be active in representing Marion county citizens on
issues such as land use planning, sustaining our heritage farm land,
safety, security, and emergency planning, future growth projection,
conservation and environmental issues, protecting and expanding
recreational and athletic opportunities, prudent fiscal management as well
as addressing district taxing and assessment issues.
Maintain a close collaborative working relationship
with all governmental jurisdictions as well as other local, city and state
officials.
Create a five year office operational work plan for
the purpose of setting yearly cycle goals, deed and map processing goals,
and valuation recalculation goals. Improve office communication with honest
and accurate information and material.
Establish a management structure in order to provide
employees with direction, stability and realistic workload assignments. A
management where each employee’s ideas are considered discussed and
implemented upon approval.
