Mike Ryan...Positive Leadership for Marion County
Swift, Sure, Compassionate Juvenile Justice. “Our community’s public safety future must include an expanded juvenile justice facility. We have to create a justice system that combines immediate sanctions with a compassionate hand up for youth seeking help.”
Cost-Effective Year 2000 “E-Government” Technology. “Information system innovations will make County programs and services more accessible and should save residents time by using computer technology. Instant, accurate information will aid fire and police emergency responses.”
Growth Management and Our Community’s Quality of Life. “Managing our growth future is one of our most critical challenges. It won’t be easy. However, I try to resolve Marion County problems by rolling up my sleeves and getting involved. Consensus-building is hard work sometimes. Our quality of life demands this type of hands-on leadership.”
Clear Public Policy Direction at a Price Taxpayer’s Can Afford.
“The new Juvenile Justice Center will be built and operated within existing tax resources. I’m ready to tighten our budget to reflect this public safety priority.”
“The $30 million Courthouse Square project is now on time and under budget.”
Dear Marion County Voters:
I look forward to every day on the job. I’m dedicated to continue doing my homework on issues, being an involved decision-maker, and listening to advice and constructive criticism. I would be honored to continue serving as your Commissioner.
Sincerely,
Mike Ryan
