Experience: Serving on the Salem Area Mass Transit District Board of Directors from 1997 to 2000 has given me a wealth of invaluable experience with transit issues. During this tenure the Transit District increased ridership, hired a new general manager and completed the Courthouse Square Transit Mall and Office Complex in conjunction with Marion County. I served as Treasurer of the Salem Area Mass Transit District Board of Directors during the final year of the Courthouse Square Project, which was completed on time and under budget. Community Involvement: I have had the opportunity to serve the community in a number of volunteer positions: the Salem Public Library Board, the Salem-Keizer Together Community Drug Prevention Network Planning Board, the Board of Directors of the Mano a Mano Family Center, and the NESCA Neighborhood Association Executive Board as Vice-Chair and Neighborhood Watch Coordinator.
