PRIOR GOVERNMENTAL EXPERIENCE: None

I feel that I would be a good candidate for the Cascade School Board. We have lived in the Cascade School District since 1992. We moved from the City of Aumsville, two years ago, to the country but made the choice to stay in the Cascade School District and the Aumsville boundaries. My son, has gone from Kindergarten through 4th at Aumsville, 5th grade at Turner, and is now at the Junior High. My daughter, has finished her years at Aumsville and is currently at Turner. My wife is a 2nd grade teacher at Aumsville and my 3 year old son will be there soon.

I would like to provide my services and representation to the communities of the Cascade School District. Many challenges lie ahead in the education process of our children from student portfolios, assessment testing, Certification of Completion requirements, Budgeting constraints, and our ever changing technologies. In my professional career I have managed businesses, established staffing and operation budgets, developed and presented adult education programs, and provided management and supervisory oversight for multi state work groups. I feel that communication is the key element in meeting many of the challenge’s facing school districts in this century. I am not claiming to have all of the answers to the questions facing the school board. I am willing to use my experiences and communication abilities to work with the community, other school board members, and staff, in an attempt to provide the best education and learning environment for our children.

The Cascade School District has and will play an important part in my familie’s life for many years to come. I would like to contribute to the Cascade School District by being on the school board.
