EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: 1986 Regis High School graduate; Associates of Science degree, Chemeketa Community College

PRIOR GOVERNMENTAL EXPERIENCE: None

I know I would be a great representative for Sublimity on the North Santiam District School Board. I am the mother of three children. I have chosen not to have a career so I can make my children and their education my full-time job. I believe my day-to-day presence in Sublimity Elementary School makes me very accessible to the staff, parents and students. I also do not have to put aside my school board obligations because of the demands of a paid position elsewhere. I have lived in the Stayton/Sublimity community for the majority of my life. I attended our local schools as a student, and now as a parent. Our schools are going through many changes because of increased population and aging buildings. We need a level-headed, forward-looking individual with a vested interest in what happens in our schools. I believe I am that person and I hope you do too.
