(9-1-1) council.

In six years I have learned that being on the Sublimity City council is more than one night a month, for a couple of hours. My current responsibilities are water commissioner, the city councils representative to the planning commission, and representative for the City of Sublimity on the Santiam Canyon Communication Center (9-1-1) council. I have also been involved in meetings for the city’s sewer service, and Highway 22 improvements at Cascade Highway.

A City Councilor must be available to the public to hear their views and concerns and respect their views even if you do not always agree. You must be fair with your decisions and look at how those decisions are going to effect the city as a whole in the future. A good working relationship with the mayor, city councilors, government agencies and other interest groups is a must.

I have been on the Sublimity City Council for six years. I would like to continue to represent the citizens of Sublimity. Thank you for voting.
