Keizer is coming into an exciting period of growth and opportunity. The Keizer Station, River Road Renaissance, library and civic center are a few of the City’s current endeavors. I am a homeowner who is interested in, and excited about, the future of our city. It’s important to move forward and create economic opportunities and improve the quality of life here. It’s equally important to move forward in a responsible manner that preserves our low cost government.

My government experience, including responsibility for a multi-million dollar budget, has provided me the skills to help Keizer move forward responsibly. My experience working with the Federal Government, other State Governments, and Municipal Governments has given me an understanding of government operations, budgets, and relationship building with government officials, stakeholders, and the public.

The City’s priority should be the safety and welfare of its citizenry. Keizer should open its arms to new businesses. Citizen involvement in city decisions is vital. With the help of many, we recently affected positive changes to the Keizer noise ordinance and successfully persuaded the Council to set an equitable water rate for all residential users. My commitment to the good citizens of Keizer is simple. I will encourage your involvement, listen to your voice, and act in a manner consistent with an efficient, effective, low cost government. Together we can build a city that works better and costs less.

Elect David McKane. YOUR new voice in Keizer.
