PRIOR GOVERNMENTAL EXPERIENCE: Keizer City Councilor, 2000 – Present

Experience

• Charles Lee’s thirty years of experience as an educator and administrator gives him the skills necessary to be re-elected to the Keizer City Council.

• Charles Lee’s positive reputation earned in the classroom and boardroom inspires confidence in others, encourages teamwork and leads to positive partnerships.

• Charles Lee’s service on the Keizer City Council has included chairing the Civic Center Task Force and the committee to establish a focal point for Keizer. Also, he has served as liaison to the Salem Conference Center Task Force and the Making After School Count Task Force. He is an active member of the city budget committee.

Leadership

• Charles Lee leads by being an example of giving service to the community.

• He is active in the Keizer and Salem Chambers of Commerce, is a member of Rotary International, lector at St. Edward’s Catholic Church and a board member for Today’s Choices Tomorrow's Communities.

• A graduate of the “Leadership Salem” program, he has worked with leaders in local government, non-profit agencies and the private sector.

• Charles Lee serves on the NO Meth in Our Neighborhood Task Force and is also on the Executive Committee.

• Charles Lee has proven his commitment to Keizer and its future through his leadership on the council and participation in citywide committees.

• Charles Lee is committed to helping meet the challenges Keizer faces. He vows to maintain financial responsibility, protect River Road and work toward providing the city services that citizen’s want.
