It is time for Change!

Put honesty, trust, integrity, efficiency and good leadership back in your county government.

I have worked in the Marion County Assessor’s office for 23 years and I understand the complex changes that are necessary: vision, direction, and leadership. As a president and treasurer of various organizations in the community and my years of active duty and in the Naval Reserves, I have gained the expertise to unitize those skills in benefiting the office and the taxpayers.

I will treat all property owners equally in the administration of the assessment and taxation laws.

Select an appraiser to focus on manufactured homes in parks, subdivisions and assist senior citizens regarding their property valuations.

Utilize the latest technology and available resources to eliminate duplication and streamline the process to save time, effort, and finances.

Extend the time line to convert to the new county-wide recalculation process. This will allow the office time to do more of the in-depth studies needed to make sure the valuations are right the first time instead of trying to catch up and correct them later.

Verify sales and evaluate new construction monthly, to keep up with changing market conditions.

I have a good working relationship with the staff and will continue to be supportive in boosting office morale by listening to employees good ideas - that have been ignored - and implementing them.

Make your vote count!
