PRIOR GOVERNMENTAL EXPERIENCE: None

Married with three children – and a Gervais resident for more than a decade – I believe responsible fiscal planning, strategic management, and cooperative skills I have developed as a business owner and community advocate can help us better manage many of the issues confronting our schools.

My desire and commitment is to work toward an improved relationship between the board and the public it serves. Recognizing that apple polishing of the status quo is not always the best approach. Knowing that administration and staff need to fully understand and respond to the community’s aspirations for its schools.

I believe parents are ultimately responsible for the education of their children. I also believe the board has a fundamental responsibility to develop educational policies and programs which meet the needs of each and every student.

It is a privilege to be selected by neighbors to help guide the education of a community’s youth. With that in mind, I ask for your vote.
