MEASURE NO. 24-99City of GatesReferred to The Voters by Initiative PetitionAmends City of Gates Charter QUESTION: Shall the City of Gates Charter be amended to prohibit the city from contracting with Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments? SUMMARY: Amends the City of Gates Charter to prohibit the city from entering into agreements for services or from conducting business with the Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments. Beginning with the 1998 fiscal budget year, the city would be prohibited from expending city funds to or for the benefit of the Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments.
