Experienced and Effective

Leadership for North Salem

  • Salem Planning Commission, current President
  • Highland Neighborhood Association Board member, 14 years
  • North Gateway Urban Renewal District, Sub-Committee, current Chair.
  • Housing & Community Development Advisory Committee, current Chair.
  • Salem Community Development Corporation, current President
  • Highland Summer Concerts, organizer

For over a decade I have worked with many other dedicated people to make North Salem a better place to live, work and raise a family. As chair of the North Gateway Urban Renewal District subcommittee, I led urban renewal efforts along Portland Road. As board president of the Salem Community Development Corporation, a non-profit organization, I have helped eliminate blighted housing in North Salem, turning it back into safe, decent, affordable housing.

We have made tremendous strides in making North Salem a community we can all be proud of. In order to build upon this success, we need experienced and effective leadership. My fourteen years of community involvement has provided me with the experience to be an effective city councilor for North Salem.

I will use my experiences of working with community members, to find solutions to the challenges we face-our city's budget, growth issues and public safety.

My many years of working to make North Salem a better place to live has prepare me well for being your City Councilor. I ask for your vote on June 5, so we can continue working together to make Salem a more livable community.
